At the time of writing this i am currently months away from retiring from full time military service in His majesty’s Royal Navy. I have served 22 years thus far, however now it is time to move on & focus on my passion – chasing tones.
Why hello sailor effects?
I chose “Hello Sailor” over something cool and edgy like “Sailors’ Grave Effects” purely because of the very drunken tattoo I have on the front of my left shoulder (queue drunken sailor jokes). this tattoo has now become the Hello Sailor Effects badge.

Another excellent pedal I received from Joe at Hello Sailor Effects. Each pedal is so unique with Joe's art and mechanical designs. The range of tones are very different and not easily found in any other pedals that I have. This one is switchable between Si/Ge with a 3 way EQ toggle which gives a great range of tonal options when using this. Some of the tones found remind me of that early classic Deep Purple sound when RB used his old treble boost. Fast shipping to USA from across the world.

Just blew my mind!!!!! Possibly Joes' most beautiful job ! AND they always blow your mind when you find YOUR sweet spot , and there are enough of them for everyone!!The Anchor Drive is magical !!

First off, Joe is very cool and a complete pleasure to deal with. Very responsive, which I appreciate bc not all builders are. Now, the FreeRange is the desert island, single pedal for rocknroll… the best sounding, most tweak able rangemaster into a Kossoff OD and you can crank it into Ge fuzz territory. I’ve spend a lot on pedals before and resented it but this one was very much worth it.
