This special batch of Kossoff Drive pedals marks a new chapter for Hello Sailor Effects, built for the first time in our brand-new workshop. Featuring an original 1960s Vox fawn covering for the base and custom Hello Sailor Effects fabric on top, each pedal is as much a collector’s piece as it is a sonic powerhouse.

Inspired by Paul Kossoff’s legendary tone on Free Live: BBC Manchester, the Kossoff Drive recreates what many call the greatest recorded guitar sound ever. Hand-wired in the UK with a blend of vintage and modern components, this FET-based overdrive delivers the perfect blues growl—richly overdriven yet clear and articulate.
