A small run of six Green Russian style fuzz pedals built around the same question that always follows these circuits around.
Why do some Big Muffs sound enormous on their own, then disappear the second a band starts playing.

These builds were put together to keep the weight and saturation people chase from old Green Russian circuits, while giving you control over where the pedal actually sits in a real rig.

Each one is hand wired on veroboard using a mixture of vintage and carefully chosen modern components. Nothing inside was selected because it looks old. The parts were chosen because of the way the circuit reacts once the gain comes up and the low end starts pushing the front of an amp properly.

The core voice stays firmly in that late Soviet era territory. Thick low mids, soft compression around the pick attack, and the kind of sustain that seems to hang underneath the notes rather than sitting on top of them. Chords stay wide and physical without turning into fizz.

The difference is the three way EQ switch.
One position keeps the classic scooped Green Russian response. The familiar hollow centre that works brilliantly for huge walls of fuzz and layered guitar parts.

The middle setting flattens the response and brings the pedal forward without losing the size underneath it. Less disappearing into the mix. More immediate under the fingers.
The final setting pushes the mids harder and tightens the whole circuit slightly. It keeps the same saturation character but behaves far better into already driven British style amplifiers or denser live mixes.

These are not three different pedals forced into one box. The switch was tuned to feel like three useful versions of the same circuit depending on the amp and the room.

Three builds are finished in Drab Olive Green Burst with aged detailing.

Three are finished in Aged Vintage White.

All six are hand wired individually and will naturally vary slightly from one another in the way old fuzz circuits always do.
