Description of Product
This is a one off SeaWolf Delay finished in aged white nitrocellulose lacquer with Gypsy tattoo artwork.
The enclosure has been hand prepared and sprayed in thin coats of white nitro, then lightly aged to soften the surface and remove the sharpness of a fresh finish. It carries the look of something that has lived on a board rather than come straight from a shelf.
The Gypsy tattoo artwork sits against the aged white in contrast. Traditional line work. Subtle colour. Intentional placement. It feels part of the enclosure rather than applied to it.
Inside, the SeaWolf is built around a PT2399 based delay architecture and hand wired on veroboard. No production PCB. No automated assembly. Component layout is deliberate and serviceable.
Mullard Tropical Fish capacitors are used within the signal path alongside other carefully selected vintage components. The intention is simple. Keep the repeats rounded and musical. Avoid brittle edges.

The added volume control allows the output to move beyond unity. Used lightly it balances the delay against your dry tone. Used firmly it provides a subtle lead lift, useful if this is the only pedal engaged.
Every SeaWolf Delay is hand built in the UK by Joe Halliday. This finish and artwork combination will not be repeated in exactly this form.
Description of Sound
The SeaWolf Delay is designed to stay out of the way.
The repeats sit behind your playing rather than competing with it. They decay naturally and soften as they fall away. Chords remain intact. Single notes retain clarity.
At lower mix settings it adds space without obvious echo. Increase the repeats and it becomes more present while still remaining controlled.
The PT2399 architecture gives the repeats a slightly rounded character. They do not feel clinical. They feel integrated.
Manipulating the repeats and delay controls together allows controlled oscillation. It can be encouraged into swelling feedback textures without sudden harsh spikes.
With the volume control raised, the pedal can gently push the front of an amplifier, making it useful as both ambience and lift.
It supports your tone rather than replacing it.
