Description

There is a reason certain fuzz pedals seem to sit inside the note rather than simply covering it up.

The attack stays intact.

The guitar volume control remains useful.

Chords retain their shape.

And somehow the sound feels bigger without becoming harsher.

That behaviour was the starting point for this build.

The Abbey Road Fuzz is my interpretation of the early British fuzz sounds that helped shape countless recordings throughout the 1960s, built around the idea that great fuzz should feel connected to the player rather than detached from them.

Hand wired on traditional tagboard construction and housed in a vintage inspired enclosure, this particular build combines carefully selected components with extensive tuning to create a fuzz that responds as much to your hands as it does to your amplifier.

Rather than chasing maximum gain, the focus here is musicality.

Roll your guitar volume back and the sound cleans up naturally.

Dig in harder and the pedal pushes back.

Open the guitar up and it delivers the thick, harmonically rich sustain that made these early circuits legendary.

Inside you’ll find carefully selected vintage style components chosen for both reliability and tonal character, including period correct construction methods that preserve the feel and response that made these circuits famous in the first place.

This is not a modern high gain fuzz.

It is a vintage style instrument in its own right.

The kind of pedal that encourages you to work the controls on the guitar rather than reaching down to adjust the pedal.

Whether you’re chasing British Invasion tones, classic rock textures, singing lead sounds, or simply want a fuzz that feels alive underneath your fingers, the Abbey Road Fuzz was built for exactly that purpose.

If you’ve ever played a fuzz that sounded impressive on its own but vanished when the band started playing, this build was created to explore exactly why that happens.

The result is a fuzz that stays musical, stays responsive, and feels far bigger than the sum of its parts.
